" I acquired my 250 Elsinore from Don and John Baker in 2023. It was my first ever motocross and MWVMX race after racing only a few woods races. I was riding a loaned 1972 SL125 Honda that was in mint condition with the factory paint, head and tail lights, working tachs, etc lol! And that beauty absolutely should not have been on the track! I was lucky enough to win the vintage class, and receive the Cool Bike award! My dad had started networking and we started to talk to John Baker. I wanted to get serious and if you know Don and John their bikes are SERIOUS! So Don made a deal that if I acquired the bike I HAD TO ride it! It could NOT be an ornament! Well for me that’s absolutely no issue [🫡] . The bike has held up wonderfully since and I am still hitting MWVMX races with it to this day! I was even lucky enough to win the vintage points last year on board this machine!​​ "
